Groom's Guide to Wedding Day Attire

You're a groom..... or you're engaged to one.

I wanted to take a couple of blog posts to focus on the groom and ways to help guide them through this journey! I have loved getting to know the couple I shoot for and their stories. It has been amazing learning from each of them and their different experiences in life. I felt like there weren’t really any guides for the grooms… So here we go!

As a groom, deciding what to wear on your wedding day can be overwhelming. With so many different styles and options available, it can be difficult to know where to start. To help make the process a little easier, I’ve put together a comprehensive guide to wedding day attire for grooms.

The first thing to consider is the dress code. Depending on the formality of the wedding, you may need to wear a black-tie tuxedo, a suit and tie, or a more casual outfit. Make sure to check with your partner and the wedding planner to get a clear idea of what's expected.

Next, consider your personal style. Do you prefer a classic look, or something more modern? Are you comfortable in a fitted suit, or do you prefer something more relaxed? Take some time to browse different styles and try on different outfits to get a sense of what feels right for you.

When it comes to accessories, there are plenty of options to choose from. A pocket square, tie clip, or cufflinks can add a touch of personality to your outfit, while a boutonniere is a traditional accessory that can add a pop of color.

Finally, make sure you're comfortable. You'll be wearing your wedding outfit for several hours, so it's important to choose something that feels good and allows you to move around freely. Consider the fabric, fit, and overall comfort level of your outfit before making a final decision.
